Consultant and Researcher
Dr. Sebastian Kaempfe-Droguett
My main interest is the reconstruction of sedimentary environments through the characterization and interpretation of their stratigraphic record and sedimentary processes. As a geologist from the Magallanes region my ultimate goal is to further contribute to reconstructing the temporal and spatial evolution of the Magallanes Basin and transmit this knowledge to the local and international geologist and non-geologist community.
Depositional architecture of slope channel and fan deposits.
Sedimentological and structural characterization of deep-marine levee systems.
Detrital zircon geochronology and paleogeography
